$20 Million Democrat Party Report Proves The Obvious: Men Despise Them

The Democrats have a hard time getting their heads around the fact that they have completely abandoned the most basic rules of building a civilized society and earning trust from citizens in a civilized society. Simply put, without trust from the average American, you will make it nowhere near political relevancy. This is what the neocons in the post-Bush era learned with resounding losses on the part of John McCain & Mitt Romney, and this is what the Democrats are now learning as a result of their hyper-progressive, radical ideologies.

Those ideologies have completely left young men (especially white men) out of their vision for a prosperous and so-called “fair” American society. Their extremism on issues of feminism and gender ideologies have demonized young men every step of the way. White men are to be blamed for race tensions, men in general are to be blamed for so-called “income inequality”, and men are to be blamed for supposed prejudice against anyone belonging to the LGBT “community.” Behind every issue that the Democrats bring up for America, there are men taking the blame. Plain and simple.

So what would this do to men in election time? Well, of course, over time they are going to leave your party in droves. It’s really quite simple. This is why there’s a growing gap between how men and women vote in elections, just as we saw in 2024. So the Democrats decided to spend $20 million on a study to figure out why men are leaving their plantation in droves. If it wasn’t obvious already, it should be abundantly obvious and clear to anyone with a brain.

Democrats’ War on Young Men Backfires According to Report

The Democratic Party’s desperate attempt to reconnect with young men through their $20 million Speaking with American Men (SAM) project has laid bare a harsh truth: young men across America see Democrats as weak, out-of-touch, and downright dismissive of their concerns. Politico’s reporting on the project’s initial findings reveals a growing resentment among young male voters, who feel ignored and vilified by a party that’s spent years demonizing masculinity while praising the GOP for its strength and confidence.

Young men, according to SAM’s focus groups, are fed up. “Neither party has our back,” one black man from Georgia said, summing up the sentiment of many. The Democrats’ multi-million-dollar initiative, launched to understand why they lost male voters in the 2024 election, only confirms what’s been obvious to anyone paying attention: the party’s obsession with tearing down traditional masculinity has driven young men away in droves. While the GOP is seen as projecting strength and reliability, Democrats are floundering, viewed as cautious and overly focused on preaching empathy over action.

Ilyse Hogue, a co-founder of SAM and a longtime left-wing activist, admitted to Politico that young men feel the Democratic Party doesn’t “care” about them. “Democrats are seen as weak, whereas Republicans are seen as strong,” Hogue said. “Young men also spoke of being invisible to the Democratic coalition, and so you’ve got this weak problem and then you’ve got this, ‘I don’t think they care about me’ problem, and I think the combination is kind of a k*ller.” Her words expose the Democrats’ failure to connect with a demographic they’ve spent years alienating with their relentless attacks on “toxic masculinity” and traditional values.

The 2024 election results tell the story. While women stuck with Kamala Harris at roughly the same rate they supported Joe Biden in 2020, men shifted hard toward Donald Trump, dropping from 48% support for Biden to just 42% for Harris, according to Democratic firm Catalist. Young men, in particular, are rejecting the Democrats’ vision of “fluid masculinity” that celebrates sensitivity over strength. One focus group participant nailed it, describing Democrats as embracing “the fluid masculinity of being, like, empathetic and sensitive,” while “Republicans are more like, the traditional masculinity of a provider, strong, and the machismo type.”

Hogue’s solution? Democrats need to start “speaking the language that young men are speaking.” But that’s a tall order for a party that’s built its brand on vilifying the very traits young men value. “Democrats can’t win these folks over if they’re not speaking the language that young men are speaking,” she told Politico. Yet, instead of reflecting on their failed approach, Democrats are doubling down, throwing millions at a project that House Republican Conference Chair Lisa McClain mocked as lighting “$20 million on fire to study their unpopularity.”

The GOP hasn’t been shy about calling out the Democrats’ missteps. Arizona Rep. Abe Hamadeh took to X in May, slamming the SAM project and the party’s serious failures. “The Democrats declared war on masculinity and lost a generation of young men,” he wrote. “Instead of doing any introspection as to what they did wrong, they’re going to invest $20 million studying ‘male Syntax’ to try to better communicate their radical message.” Hamadeh’s point cuts deep: Democrats aren’t just out of touch—they’re actively hostile to the values young men hold dear.

This isn’t just about messaging; it’s about a fundamental disconnect. Democrats have spent years pushing a narrative that casts young men as the problem—blaming them for everything from cultural decline to systemic issues—while offering nothing but lectures in return. The SAM project’s findings show that young men feel invisible, dismissed, and disrespected by a party that seems more interested in scoring ideological points than addressing their real-world concerns.

Even some Democrats are starting to see the cracks in their approach. Rahm Emanuel, former Obama White House chief of staff, called the party’s brand “weak and woke” in May, a rare moment of self-awareness. But the problem runs deeper than branding. As Democratic strategist Ross Morales Rocketto, who isn’t involved with SAM, told Politico, “The Democratic Party is missing that we’re not going to be able to message our way out of these deep problems men are facing, starting with the fact that they know the Democratic Party doesn’t really like or respect them.” Rocketto’s right—young men aren’t fooled by slick PR campaigns when the party’s actions scream disdain.

The GOP, meanwhile, has capitalized on this resentment, tapping into the frustration of young men who feel alienated by a Democratic Party that seems to mock their values at every turn. Republicans have positioned themselves as the party of strength, opportunity, and traditional roles—qualities that resonate with men who feel sidelined by the left’s endless crusade against “machismo.” The Democrats’ loss in 2024, with the GOP sweeping the White House and both houses of Congress, shows just how badly they’ve miscalculated.

For young men, the message is clear: the Democratic Party doesn’t get them, doesn’t want them, and doesn’t respect them. Throwing $20 million at a fancy study won’t change that. Until Democrats stop treating masculinity as a problem to be fixed, they’ll keep losing the very voters they’re now scrambling to understand.
