Back in January of 2023, it was discovered that Joe Biden had been holding classified federal government documents in his private home in Wilmington, Delaware. These documents spanned back a long way, some going back to when he was a U.S. Senator from Delaware and others dating back to his time as Vice President to Barack Obama between 2009 and 2017. It was in November of 2022 when the first documents were found and then an investigation turned up even more throughout December of 2022 and into January of 2023 when the report went public.

That January, the Department of Justice headed up by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland decided to appoint Robert K. Hur as the special counsel for the investigation of any criminal activity on the part of Joe Biden for these classified documents being in his private residence. The real bombshell was what happened at the end of the investigation.

Hur had concluded that, regarding the documents found in his home in Delaware, Joe Biden may simply not have known that some of the documents he had in his private residence without any security were classified. Hur argued that Biden may have thought they were simply “personal records” of his time as a U.S. Senator and Vice President to Barack Obama. Ultimately, it was Hur’s decision to not recommend any charges being brought against Joe Biden.

The reasoning is particularly shocking. Hur added that he believed Joe Biden’s defense would try to argue that he’s merely a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Being old has never been a defense for any American citizen who commits a crime, so most Americans agree that it shouldn’t be one for Joe Biden either. The idea is that no one is supposed to be above the law, but Joe Biden clearly is.

Maybe the most fascinating part of the whole investigation is that Joe Biden was interviewed by Hur and the Department of Justice. At the time, Joe Biden’s White House asserted Executive privilege to keep those audio recordings of Joe Biden from making it to the public. Why would he want those interviews from reaching the American people? If he’s innocent, what is there to hide?

Well now the Department of Justice has reasserted their decision to keep the Hur tapes hidden and locked away. Their reasoning? Well Joe Biden doesn’t want them out in the public, so that’s how it should be. They even imply that Congress has no authority here to make any moves to declassify the Hur tapes.

“To be sure, Congress may disagree with the President’s privilege assertion—it would not be the first time Congress objected to the Executive Branch’s withholding of information on executive privilege grounds,” a Department of Justice statement from Assistant Attorney General Christopher Fonzone said in a written statement. “But what Congress cannot do is arrest, imprison, or impose burdensome financial sanctions on an official for carrying out the President’s direction not to disclose information over which the President asserted executive privilege,” the statement goes on to say.

The Hur tapes have enjoyed renewed interest because of the way Joe Biden’s exit from the Presidential election cycle shocked so many Americans. Joe Biden was certain that he was in perfect health and that he would make it to the general election in his campaign against Donald Trump. The debate performance he had in June shredded that to pieces. He spent weeks after that in interviews saying that he was 100% going to be in the race come November time.

Then he suddenly exited the race in late July. Everyone knew why. The Democrats no longer had confidence in his ability to win an election after the way Americans watched Biden completely breakdown on cameras during the June debate. It has been abundantly clear that Joe Biden is not in good health like some other 80+ individuals may be.

These hidden Hur tapes are a part of that effort to keep the truth about Joe Biden’s failing mental health from being made clear to the American people. It’s so obvious that the Hur tapes did not reflect well on Joe Biden’s ability to go off-the-cuff and answer questions he may not be totally prepared for. They thought they could still keep the cat in the box and keep Joe Biden’s second campaign for President in tact.

Today, there’s been an awakening for many Americans who previously may have defended Joe Biden when he was running for office the first time around. Even those in the mainstream media have had to collectively agree to tell the American people they were lying the entire time about Joe Biden’s health. As soon as that June debate ended, CNN was blown away and were ready to have a “come-to-Jesus” moment.

Legal experts have suggested that it may be possible for Donald Trump to declassify and release the Hur tapes to the American public, while some DOJ agents say that the new Trump administration may not have the authority to easily do so based on previous admin precedence on the issue.
