Iranian Tyrant Lashes Out at Trump Amid Nationwide Uprising

In a fiery televised speech on Friday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei unleashed a barrage of threats against President Donald Trump, predicting his downfall due to sheer hubris. As his own regime teeters on the brink from massive anti-government protests sweeping the nation, Khamenei drew wild comparisons to ancient despots.

“Trump should know that world tyrants such as Pharaoh, Nimrod, Reza Shah and Mohammad Reza were brought down at the peak of their arrogance. He too will be brought down,” Khamenei said. This bold claim comes at a time when Iranians are flooding the streets, demanding an end to the mullahs’ iron-fisted rule and economic mismanagement.

Khamenei doubled down on his regime’s bloody origins, insisting it would stand firm against any opposition. “Everyone should know that the Islamic Republic came to power with the blood of hundreds of thousands of honorable people, and it will not back down in the face of saboteurs,” he stated.

Initially, the ayatollahs claimed that they heard the people’s cries over the crumbling economy, but Khamenei quickly flipped the script. On Friday, he branded the protesters as nothing more than troublemakers manipulated by foreign powers, specifically pointing fingers at Israel and the United States.

“They want to make [Trump] happy. If he knew how to run a country, he would run his own,” the ayatollah said. This jab at Trump’s leadership rings hollow coming from a leader whose own policies have driven Iran into economic chaos, sparking the very unrest he’s now denouncing.

Khamenei didn’t stop there, invoking recent history to stoke hatred against America. He accused Trump of having Iranian blood on his hands after bombing key Iranian nuclear facilities.

That swift U.S. action dealt a massive blow to Iran’s dangerous ambitions, preventing a nuclear-armed rogue state from threatening the world. Yet Khamenei twists it into a grievance, ignoring how his regime’s pursuit of forbidden weapons invited the response.

Turning to the youth of Iran—those not yet targeted for execution as alleged traitors—Khamenei urged them to stay vigilant.

This call for unity smells like desperation, as the protests show deep fractures in Iranian society.

Khamenei’s hypocrisy shone through on social media, where he ranted on X while his goons cut off internet access for everyone else in Iran.

“You can see how they’ve besieged a country in Latin America & taken some actions there. They aren’t even ashamed and explicitly state that this was for oil. For oil! They say they’ve done this for oil!” Khamenei said.

Meanwhile, the Iranian regime eyes a potential boon from chaos elsewhere. With the collapse of narco-terrorist Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, reports indicate Chinese refineries might ramp up purchases of Iranian oil to fill the gap.

This expected windfall could prop up Khamenei’s coffers temporarily, but it won’t silence the streets. Protesters know their hardships stem from decades of tyrannical rule, not just external pressures.

As America stands strong under Trump, Khamenei’s bluster highlights the weakness of his position. The protests aren’t just about bread and jobs—they’re a direct challenge to the ayatollahs’ grip on power.
