In a stunning display of left-wing hysteria, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has once again shown his true colors by equating America’s brave ICE agents with the horrors of N*zi Germany.
This comes right on the heels of a shooting by Border Patrol in Minneapolis, where agents were simply doing their job to protect our communities from dangerous illegal aliens.
The incident unfolded on Saturday when Border Patrol agents targeted an illegal immigrant wanted for violent assault. According to reports, the suspect, 37-year-old Alex Pretti, approached the officers armed with a 9mm semiautomatic handgun. In the heat of the moment, agents attempted to disarm him, but he fought back fiercely, leading to the tragic outcome.
Department of Homeland Security officials laid it out clearly in their statement, per Breitbart News: agents were “conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault.”
During the operation, an individual came up to “U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9mm semiautomatic handgun.” The agents tried to get the man’s gun away from him, but he “violently resisted.”
Instead of standing up for law enforcement and the rule of law, Walz used a Sunday press conference to lash out at President Donald Trump and demand the removal of federal agents from his state. It’s as if Walz prefers chaos and open borders over safety and sovereignty.
Walz fired off questions like a man unhinged: “So my question is, what’s the plan, Donald Trump? What is the plan? What do we need to do to get these federal agents out of our state? If fear, violence and chaos is what you wanted from us, then you clearly underestimated the people of this state and nation.”
He didn’t stop there, painting Minnesotans as some kind of heroic resistance fighters. “We are tired, but we’re resolved. We’re peaceful, but we’ll never forget. We’re angry, but we won’t give up hope. And above all else, we are clearly unified. If it was the intention of Donald Trump to make an example of Minnesota, then I’m d*mn proud of the example that the world’s seeing.”
Walz wrapped up his tirade by begging Trump to “end this today” and yank ICE and Border Patrol agents out of Minnesota. He claimed kids are cowering in fear, too scared to step outside because of these federal protectors.
Then came the real low blow: Walz dragged in the story of Anne Frank to dramatize his point. “Allow our children to go back to school. We have got children in Minnesota hiding in their houses, afraid to go outside. Many of us grew up reading that story of Anne Frank,” he said. “Somebody’s going to write that children’s story about Minnesota.”
This shameless comparison didn’t sit well with patriots and Jewish communities alike. Social media erupted in rightful anger, calling out Walz for cheapening the memory of the Holocaust just to score political points against Trump.
One prominent voice, Ellie Cohanim, host of America Unfiltered on Al Arabiya English, blasted Walz directly: “The Jewish people want you to stop minimizing the memory of The Holocaust with your disgraceful comparisons @GovTimWalz.”
Florida Representative Randy Fine didn’t mince words either: “Comparing the removal of illegal immigrants to the Holocaust is antisemitic and repulsive,”
“Will Jewish Democrats call him out? I won’t hold my breath.”
Others saw through the Democrat playbook, accusing Walz of stoking violence. “The Dems are desperate to establish the narrative that Trump is Hitler and ICE are the Gestapo, because then their violence is justified,” one individual said.
“This is extremely dangerous. Walz is trying to get his supporters to violently confront federal law enforcement. They want civil war.”
