In the latest example of how far the Democratic Party has drifted from basic decency, Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner is facing fresh scrutiny over explicit social media posts detailing his s*xual habits in portable toilets.
The revelations paint a picture of a man seeking high office while sharing crude personal stories that most Americans would keep private.
Platner, a Democrat challenging longtime Senator Susan Collins, reportedly posted about his urges in military-style outhouses during a 2017 thread on nostalgic smells from the armed forces, according to Fox News.
“I still have to jerk off every time I sit in a portash*tter… that blue water smell conditioned me,” he wrote, per the outlet.
The posts go even further in another thread dubbed “GWOT D*ck Art,” where Platner gushed over crude graffiti discovered inside one of these portable units during his service overseas.
He continued by saying he “sat there in sheer awe” and felt “the soul filling joy to be allowed to witness such glory” in regards to the inappropriate graffiti.
These are not offhand remarks from a teenager. They come from a grown man who served in the military and now wants to represent Maine families in the United States Senate.
Veterans and civilians alike expect those who wear the uniform to carry themselves with honor, not treat deployment hardships as material for graphic s*xual storytelling years later.
Running under the username “P-Hustle,” Platner has a documented history of vulgar online commentary targeting women and Christianity.
He previously drew backlash for posts that lectured women on s*xual assault prevention in crude terms and mocked core Christian beliefs.
In one Reddit post, Platner claimed women should “act like an adult for f*ck sake” and “not get so f*cked up they wind up having s*x with someone they don’t mean to” if they are scared of r*pe.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee wasted no time condemning the behavior.
Spokeswoman Samantha Cantrell stated: “Graham Platner’s explicit s*xual behavior in public restrooms is deviant and deeply disturbing, especially from a man who blamed victims of s*xual assault for their own r*pes.”
Democrats continue to elevate candidates who seem disconnected from everyday standards of decency.
While everyday families teach their children modesty and respect, some on the left treat personal boundaries as outdated concepts.
