The Republican Party has seemingly found its footing after the rise of Kamala Harris threw the 2024 election a wrench that was so unprecedented it couldn’t have been prepared for at all. The constant news of booming Kamala Harris fundraising and extreme buzz on the part of the Leftist base has taken the Republicans off-guard, but they might have found their new stride.

The scramble to find what sticks on Kamala Harris has produced a few results. One of them is that Americans are very suspicious about Kamala Harris’s history. Surveys show that a majority of Americans aren’t clear about what Harris actually believes in. This has been taken as an opportunity by the GOP to hit at Kamala Harris for some of her extremely unpopular positions she’s taken over the years. Georgia’s Attorney General, Chris Carr, is courting voters with the suggestion that they back Trump over Harris if they care about law and order.

“All the DAs that we’ve seen around the country, from Los Angeles to San Francisco, where she was a DA, to St. Louis and even in our state in Athens and even in Atlanta, Georgia, she [Kamala Harris] is the model for what they really aspired to,” AG Carr said in an interview with Fox News referring to the modern approach to law prosecution in deep blue cities and states. “And that is the new criminal justice reform, which is don’t enforce the law,” he added.

Mr. Carr has called these new Leftist policies that are championed by Kamala Harris and her allies as a “roadmap for higher crime.” Carr referenced cases like the tragedy of Laken Riley’s horrific homicide at the hands of an illegal immigrant, who critics of “sanctuary city” laws say contributed to the outcome of this tragedy.

“Look at the communities that are most often impacted by this violent crime,” Carr argued in his interview with Fox News. “It’s the communities that Democrats and leftists purport to want to protect, but instead it’s actually conservatives and Republicans that are doing the things to keep people safe. I think that’s critically important,” Carr went on to say.

“You can either go down one path where you ignore the law, you avoid the law, crime goes up, or you can enforce the laws. And you’re seeing exactly what’s happening.”

Ironically, the Democrat National Convention has been held in Chicago, Illinois, one of the cities most harshly criticized for allowing mass violent crime to get worse and worse while Democrats remain in control of the local government from top to bottom.

“I think it’s absolutely ironic that the Democrats have gone to Chicago, which now continues to elect folks that just don’t believe in the rule of law, don’t believe in enforcing the law – but then also some of the security measures that they’ve taken to put walls around the convention center,” AG Carr said about the irony of the DNC being held in Chicago. “When the border is not secure, and they fought any conversation about walls or more safety in our southern border.”

Democrats Try To Make Case That They Aren’t Anarchists With Sheriff Speaker At Convention

At the Democrat Convention on Wednesday, the Democrats invited one Sheriff Javier Salazar on stage to give a speech, in which he said that Kamala Harris is actually the one who wants to defend the U.S. southern border and not Donald Trump.

“When Donald Trump comes down to Texas, stands next to officers in uniform just like mine, he’s not there to help us…Now Kamala, on the other hand, has been fighting border crime for years,” the Sheriff said in his speech.

This claim is to overcome the overwhelming sentiment from American voters that Kamala Harris largely wants to ignore the issues with illegal immigration and the U.S. southern border crisis. Another argument that Democrats are not big fans of enforcing the law, considering it is quite literally illegal to enter the United States without a visa, citizenship, or any other legally valid reason.

The Democrats in recent years have adopted a new saying that “no one is illegal”, arguing that illegal immigrants may not have done anything wrong by entering the United States without a legally valid reason to do so because they are simply “seeking a better life.”

That is an idea that is supremely unpopular with the average American voter. Surveys prove that a vast majority of voters on both ends of the political spectrum believe that completely eliminating illegal immigration is a good thing for American national security and domestic health.
