One of the most shocking aspects of the 2016 election was the way Hillary Clinton had the support of the entire political class behind her and still managed to lose. She had everything going for her in the way of flowery media reporting, D.C. politicians endorsing her left-and-right, and the most elite individuals backing her campaign.
Sure, Donald Trump had plenty of big-name support as well back in 2016, but it was nothing compared to Hillary Clinton’s. It was clear that Donald Trump was the political outsider, and there’s no way around that. Just consider how much the two campaigns raised during that cycle.
Hillary Clinton reportedly raised more than $1.2 billion between her direct campaign and its affiliates, according to FEC records. Donald Trump that same cycle raised a little more than $600 million. Meaning, she out-fundraised him by a massive 2-1 margin. Yet she still lost.
Kamala Harris seems to have this connection with Hillary Clinton. She is also beating Donald Trump in the fundraising game by a great margin. So great that you would be forgiven if you thought there was no way Trump could win just based on the fundraising numbers alone.
In September, the Harris allies hauled in $221.8 million for her campaign efforts. That is more than triple the amount Trump’s allies raised, which was just $63 million that same month, according to Fox News. They’ve also outspent the Trump campaign every month since she’s been in the race.
In terms of cash-on-hand, the Harris campaign carries another big advantage. At the end of September, the Harris campaign reported to the FEC to have $187 million in cash-on-hand compared to just $119 million for Donald Trump and his campaign.

Simply put, Kamala Harris has brought one of the most impressive fundraising efforts any presidential campaign has seen in American history. Her campaign’s money hauling has been that strong since Joe Biden bowed out. There’s just one little problem for her.
That problem is the fact that money only gets you so far. Hillary Clinton had to learn this lesson the hard way. Campaign fundraising simply isn’t everything. It can give you a big advantage in terms of being able to reach undecided and independent voters and saturate them with campaign messaging, preventing an opponent from being able to do the same.
That’s when you’re dealing with normal circumstances, though. Under normal circumstances, Hillary Clinton may very well have won in 2016. If she was running against another Mitt Romney-type, it would have been no surprise at all if she won. The fact is, though, she didn’t run against a milquetoast RINO (Republican In Name Only). She was running against the one and only Donald Trump.
Say what you want about him, but he’s been a master at messaging and connecting with people for decades. While generic Republicans would need to spend boat loads of money to get their name and message out there, Donald Trump has done that effortlessly and without the need to spend money at all.

All he’s had to do is share a video on social media or make dozens and dozens more cable news appearances than his opponents. He literally takes the free press that anyone will give him. It’s quite brilliant, actually, and it’s been a key reason why the Democrats haven’t been able to bury him by simply out-fundraising him every single cycle.
The mistake Hillary Clinton made was to assume that out-fundraising Trump and playing the game as they normally would, would bring her a resounding victory. Oh how she underestimated Donald Trump. Kamala Harris is doing the exact same thing, though.
As soon as she entered the race, she assumed that she would be able to just fundraise and stay out of the media. This allowed Donald Trump to keep trucking and make the rounds with anyone with a platform who would listen to him. Whether it was Fox News or an independent YouTube podcaster, he wanted to get his message out there.
Now Kamala Harris has been trying to play catch-up for the past several weeks, literally copying the Trump game-plan of searching for anyone with a microphone to give to her. The problem is it might have been to late for her. She was already up against the clock when she entered the race, and she chose to waste time on the political machine much like Hillary Clinton did.
If she loses, the history books will have a lot to say about the way Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris both lost in similar fashion to Mr. Trump.

I think she made a mistake running at all wasting everyone’s time and money
Unfortunately for this country as a whole, it was probably the best plan for her campaign to stay away from the camera. She opens her mouth and we either hear her parroting the same garbage ad nauseum or she begins to speak in these ridiculous word salads. When actually pressed to answer actual questions on subjects that Americans are interested in, she quickly becomes arrogant and condescending, lecturing the interviewer with her memorized talking points. She has no real plans, just a lot of vague and/or illegal promises in a vain attempt to buy votes. The few actual plans she has presented have been copied from Donald Trump! She reminds me of an annoying parrot and is hardly presidential material,.

She’s one big mistake. She doesn’t think the American people can decide and think for themselves. Whatever Biden or Harris has done in the past,it’s been wrong for our country. They should bury their heads in shame. If they can’t help, they don’t belong where they are. We need our President. Trump. Now!
