The crisis at the southern border has been a disaster under the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris administration. Hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants have made their way into the country and the current admin seems to be doing hardly anything to stop them.

As Vice President Harris is running for president, she and her campaign have been desperately trying to distance her from her role as the nation’s Border Czar. President Biden gave her that title in hopes that she would be able to solve the crisis at the border. As we all know, the crisis only got worse under her watch.

And now Border Patrol agents have had enough. According to several agents who spoke with the New York Post, a large amount of them will retire or quit if Kamala Harris wins the election this November.

Border Patrol Agents Have Had Enough With Kamala Harris

“I’m not doing this s–t again … four years of hell,” one Border Patrol agent told the New York Post regarding a potential Kamala Harris presidency. “Lots of guys who can retire will go. If Trump wins, they’ll stay,” another agent said.

It’s pretty clear where a lot of these agents stand in regards to who they want to win come Election Day. Earlier this week, the National Border Patrol Council officially endorsed Donald Trump for president.

According to the Washington Examiner, the Border Patrol has lost 4,000 employees since October of 2020. The morale of the agents has also decreased significantly under the Biden/Harris admin.

To combat the high turnover and poor morale, Donald Trump has promised to add 10,000 new agents to the Border Patrol. But some agents, who spoke anonymously with the New York Post, said the opposite will happen if Harris wins a term in the Oval Office.

“We will have another exodus just because we will have a bunch of 20-year agents saying peace out,” an agent explained. He also added that he was “absolutely sure” he would quit the Border Patrol if Harris wins.

“Under this administration, they’ve done everything they could to make our job as inefficient as possible. They can’t outwardly tell us not to do our job, but when you’re watching criminals come in and get released it sucks,” another agent said.

Further highlighting just how poor morale is among agents, is the fact that 15 suicides were recorded by the Border Patrol in 2022. The agency even had to hire a suicidologist to address this disturbing issue.

“The morale has never been as low in the Border Patrol, but under the Biden-Harris administration and her current ads, acting like she’s pro-border security is just putting salt on an already gaping wound for the morale of Border Patrol agents and law enforcement,” former Yuma Border Patrol Chief Chris Clem said to the New York Post. “Kamala Harris has been bad for morale, for not only law enforcement around the country, but also for our border security personnel.”

Harris’s Lack Of A Plan To Solve The Border Crisis

Kamala Harris wants voters to think she is more than capable of solving the crisis at the southern border. She’s hoping people forget about her poor record as the nation’s Border Czar by blaming Donald Trump and Republicans for the mass influx of illegal immigrants.

That’s pretty much been her response to most of the questions she gets about policy: blame Donald Trump. Unfortunately for her, this strategy isn’t working. Voters are able to see right through it and it’s reflecting in the polls.

And if Border Patrol agents themselves – who have boots on the ground at the southern border and see just how bad things really are – are threatening to quit if Kamala Harris wins the election, then that should tell you all you need to know about just how poor her plan, or lack thereof, is to fix the southern border crisis.
