Democrat Strategist Admits Kamala Harris Should Stop Saying The Economy Is Doing Well

Ask anyone in the country how they are feeling about their finances today compared to four years ago, and the most common answer you’ll receive is that cost of living has seriously harmed their financial stability. Of course, the price of goods is not the only factor in determining how an economy is doing on whole, but it is a massive factor.

Not only that, but how the American people generally feel about the economy in a presidential election year is a significant indicator of which way the election will go. Generally, the party in power in the White House during an election year in which the American people feel nervous about the economy will lose the White House and seats in Congress. That’s not a hard and fast rule, it’s just a common historical trend.

That’s the problem Kamala Harris is facing, given she’s the current Vice President and is essentially the incumbent ticket, even if the way she became the nominee was unprecedented. Her response to this problem has been strange, to say the least. She just keeps telling Americans that the economy is doing fine and that she’ll do even better than she and Biden have for the last four years.

While Kamala Harris keeps parading around the success of Bidenomics and proclaiming she’ll take the economy to new heights if the American people just trust her with four years in the White House, at least one Democrat strategist is calling on Kamala Harris to cut the shenanigans and admit the American people don’t agree that the economy is just fine.

James Carville, a Bill-Clinton advisor, Democrat political strategist and Kamala Harris campaign ally, has recently shared publicly on his podcast that he thinks Kamala Harris needs to do away with the “economy is fine” shtick.

“There’s a way to do this and the way not to — and usually, you have perception economy, and most of the people that we know, and I think with some validity, say, ‘Look, this economy is a lot better than people think it is.’ Alright, that’s frankly not going to work very well because it takes a while for economic perceptions to change,” Carville said on his podcast.

He went on to say that he wishes Kamala Harris would try to attack Donald Trump on tariffs, arguing that they are unpopular though the surveys suggest otherwise. A survey by Reuters/Ipsos found that solid 60% of voters were more likely to support a candidate who promoted a blanket tariff on all imports. Simply put, tariffs are popular with many Americans, whether or not economists agree on their net impact.

Carville would then add that he doesn’t want her to try and convince Americans that the “economy is good” and rather ask them to weigh the risks involved between voting for Donald Trump or herself.

“We no longer have to convince people that the economy is good. We only have to convince people that they have something to lose, which is a much easier job,” Carville claimed on his podcast.

Kamala Harris Severely Underwater On Economic Issues, Polls Suggest

Every candidate has weak spots, but you do not want the economy to be one of those weak spots under any circumstances. Unfortunately for Kamala Harris, she lags behind Donald Trump on the issue of the economy in the eyes of most Americans. In issue surveys, likely voters indicate they trust Donald Trump on the economy more than Kamala Harris. 6 in 10 Americans are outright disapprove of the handling of the economy from the Biden-Harris administration so far.

James Carville is clearly trying to get Kamala Harris to wake up and smell the roses considering she has just over a month to convince Americans she’s up to the task as the head of the executive branch and worthy of sitting behind that Oval Office desk.

She’s unlikely to take the advice, though. She’s somewhat stuck since she’s the Vice President of the United States to Joe Biden right now. She can’t be too critical about the last few years of the administration’s handling of the economy lest she risk shooting herself in the foot.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, continues to put the pressure on Kamala Harris by (please link: https://silentmajorityreport.com/donald-trump-announces-new-no-tax-on-overtime-policy/) introducing new populist ideas on the campaign trail (end link) that will entice everyday Americans in key swing states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennslyvania.

#1 Kamala is a Maxist… thats a huge no for most Americans.
#2 She cant reverse her stance on her past statements and policy plans, most Americans see right through that as gaslighting the voters.
#3 The few policies she HAS stated under her attempted make over are totally disasterous for America and the American people. They will lead to much, much higher prices and major shortages in food and housing.
