From Left-wing governors to federal bureaucrats, these forces are working overtime to thwart Trump’s agenda and deny the people the president they voted for. Their refusal to accept the election results highlights their determination to protect their progressive agenda at all costs, even if it means ignoring the will of the voters.
The “Trump-Proofing” Agenda: Democrats Plot to Sabotage the People’s Choice
Rather than honoring the election results, Democrat governors from states like California, New York, Illinois, and New Jersey have openly vowed to resist Trump’s presidency. They’ve created a coalition, Governors Safeguarding Democracy (GSD), dedicated to blocking his policies.
Colorado’s Jared Polis and Illinois’ J.B. Pritzker co-founded the group, claiming they want to “strengthen American democracy,” yet their actions reveal a deep commitment to undermining the will of the people. Whether it’s blocking Trump’s immigration reforms or protecting sanctuary cities, these governors are determined to thwart any policy that challenges their liberal priorities.
California has taken the lead in this resistance. Governor Gavin Newsom quickly called a special legislative session to “Trump-proof” the state. Attorney General Rob Bonta promised that his office had prepared legal arguments to challenge any Trump policy, particularly on issues like abortion, gun control, and transgender rights.
Newsom and Bonta’s actions, along with similar vows from other Democrat governors, demonstrate a clear strategy to block Trump’s agenda and ignore the will of voters who supported him.
Federal Resistance: The “Deep State” and Biden’s Ongoing Sabotage
It’s not just state governments resisting Trump — federal bureaucrats and President Joe Biden have also worked to undermine his efforts.
Hours before Congress certified Trump’s victory, Biden signed an executive order banning offshore drilling in over 625 million acres of federal waters, directly counteracting Trump’s energy policies aimed at achieving U.S. energy independence. Biden’s actions, framed as environmental protections, are nothing more than an effort to thwart the will of voters who favored Trump’s economic and energy policies.
On the federal level, “Trump-proofing” has gone even further, with career bureaucrats in agencies like the EPA and NIH working to block Trump’s reforms. The Office of Personnel Management introduced rules to make it harder for future administrations to fire bureaucrats working against the president’s agenda.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration’s massive military aid to Ukraine, which Trump would not have supported, continues to push an internationalist agenda at odds with the “America First” policies that Trump promised to prioritize. These efforts only underscore the lengths to which the establishment will go to resist Trump and protect the status quo.
From Biden’s executive orders to federal bureaucratic maneuvers, Democrats and the deep state are doing everything they can to block the policies the American people overwhelmingly supported when they voted for Trump.

If you Democrats want to cease to exist keep it up. The people of this country have spoken. There are a lot of people who are afraid of losing their food stamps and welfare. I am afraid if Donald Trump can`t take over like like he plans. Our country is doomed to fail. This is what the Democratic party was and still is hoping for.
