Disgraced former Republican just went on the defense of this crazed-leftist

In the lion’s den of ABC’s The View, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene cut through the scripted outrage with characteristic straight talk.

The topic was Graham Platner, the Democratic Senate candidate in Maine facing a revived s*xual assault claim from 2021.

Co-host Sara Haines laid out the stakes: “Congresswoman we were talking before you came out about Graham Platner and the very serious allegation that he s*xually assaulted a woman back in 2021, an allegation he denied. More and more prominent Democrats are calling on him to end his campaign, should he?”

“You know, I don’t know anything about his policies. I just started learning about him yesterday when I saw this blow up. However, I do know what establishment political hit jobs look like,” Greene stated in what sounded like a bizarre defense of the scandal-ridden Democrat.

However, Greene made clear her position on actual violence against women.

“And I really wish women — when a woman is r*ped, it’s extremely serious. And I stand behind women that are r*ped — and I ended my political career on that, by the way — and I wish women would come forward,” she said.

“The most important thing a woman can do is come forward and report a r*pe, not report it years later when someone is running for office.”

Haines pushed back, stating, “You know that does mostly happen in s*xual assault because it’s very difficult for victims to come forward.”

Greene acknowledged the point without surrendering ground. “Oh, of course yes.”

Platner is still in the race as of now, yet pressure mounts from within his party for him to quit.

The real victims here are not only the women whose pain gets politicized, but also the voters robbed of honest choices.

The Platner story should prompt real questions, not knee-jerk partisan defense.
