Donald Trump’s Favorability Rating Hits New Heights In Latest Poll

Ever since Donald Trump entered the political scene in 2015 and announced that he would run as a Republican for President of the United States, the mainstream media made him out to be public enemy number one. They basically claimed that he was evil and likened him and his supporters to Hitler and the Nazis.

Of course none of that was true. Trump has already served four years as President and displayed no similarities to Adolph Hitler and the Nazis. Yet, because of the media’s lies, Trump was still a very unpopular figure among Americans during his first term. He was extremely polarizing and you either loved him or hated him.

But when President Joe Biden entered the fray and won the 2020 Presidential election and began his term thereafter, the American people began to slowly wake up to the lies they were fed by the legacy media in regards to Donald Trump. Sure, the man can be abrasive and full of himself, but it’s a fact that America was stronger in regards to the economy and keeping our borders safe when he was in office as compared to Joe Biden’s four years as President.

When Americans compared the four years of Trump to the four years of Biden, they realized that everything wasn’t doom and gloom under Trump’s presidency like the media made it out to be. That’s what helped lead to a resounding election victory for Donald Trump back in November. But there were other factors as well.

Enter Vice President Kamala Harris onto the scene. She was a candidate that was backed by the political establishment class and had the endorsement of elitist celebrities. The average American saw right through that and it helped persuade them into supporting Trump in the 2024 election. While he’s still a billionaire, he did a much better job of relating to the everyday U.S. citizen as opposed to Kamala Harris. Trump took a shift at McDonalds during the end of the campaign trail and actually looked like he enjoyed himself while serving customers french fries.

This is the genuineness from Donald Trump that the media was so desperate to hide all of these years. And while his policies also gave him an enormous boost in the 2024 presidential election, his ability to properly relate to average Americans was also key. But not only has it helped him win a second term in the White House, it’s also helped him achieve a new accomplishment as far as favorability ratings.

Trump’s Favorability Rating Higher Than UnFavorability Rating For First Time

In early December, just one month after his 2024 election victory, President-elect Donald Trump achieved the highest favorability rating of his political career, marking a dramatic shift in public opinion. For the first time, Trump’s net favorability turned positive in the RealClearPolitics (RCP) average, an achievement that had eluded him throughout his political journey. On December 4, the RCP average recorded Trump with a 49.1% favorability rating compared to a 47.6% unfavorability rating. Four days later, his favorability climbed slightly to 49.4%, while his unfavorability remained unchanged before dipping further to 47.4% by December 11.

This milestone represented a stark contrast to the early days of Trump’s political career. When he launched his candidacy in July 2015, Trump’s favorability stood at a meager 22.7%, while his unfavorability rating soared to 62%. By mid-April 2016, his unfavorability peaked at 64.5%. However, after his unexpected election win in November 2016, those numbers began to shift. By New Year’s Day 2017, his unfavorability rating had dropped to 47.8%, while his favorability had climbed to 44.5%.

Despite his presidency’s controversies and relentless criticism, Trump’s favorability never crossed 45% during his time in office or in the years afterward. Even during President Joe Biden’s tenure, Trump struggled to gain ground, hitting a low of 36.8% on December 20, 2022. His ratings gradually rose in the following months, but he remained underwater until October 12, 2024, when his favorability rating broke through the 45% threshold, reaching 45.4%. At the time, his unfavorability still stood at 52%.

In the final stretch before the November election, the gap between Trump’s favorability and unfavorability ratings began to close. On December 4, his favorability finally surpassed his unfavorability — a remarkable turnaround in a contentious political landscape. Trump’s unyielding rise to the presidency, despite facing unprecedented challenges, has been a source of intrigue and admiration among his supporters. From hostile media coverage and two impeachment trials to legal battles, assassination attempts, and countless other hurdles, Trump has continued to defy the odds.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich captured this sentiment in his recent remarks: “If you’re a relatively sophisticated leader around the world, and you watch nine years of the rise of Donald Trump, and you watch two impeachments, and you watch all of these efforts to catch him in the law, and you watch two assassination attempts and the guy just keeps coming, — as I said the other day, this is a mythic figure, almost like the various Scandinavian Beowulfs and other kinds of sagas. There’s no practical way that you can explain Trump within a normal political structure.”

As Trump prepares to take office for a second term, his popularity surge reflects not only the enduring loyalty of his base but also his resilience in the face of adversity — a hallmark of his political brand. Whether this newfound favorability will translate into broader public support during his presidency remains to be seen, but this is just another example of the President-elect defying the odds that the establishment political class and media have given him. Donald Trump has never been more popular in the political world and it’s likely his popularity will only keep increasing.

Our first lady president should be a combination of Eleanor Rosevelt and Jackie Kennedy, for starters. She should not be a bimbo. Get the picture? Can you see someone of the caliber of Kamala Harris intelligently discussing world problems with world leaders?

I appreciate whatever our new president has done in the past and what he will accomplish in the future. He’s gone thru more than anyone deserves and came out better than ever. He will keep his promises if some of the stupid idiots will get lost. The more I hear what BIDON is doing, the more I think he should get a fast impeachment. He’s trying to mess America and all Americans. Not just being spiteful but irrational. He’s turned into a dangerous enemy. Get him out of there fast.
