The saga of Donald Trump’s appointment nominations has been certainly interesting to watch. The Trump movement is simply more anti-establishment than ever before, and Trump’s voters and supporters are expecting him to make wise picks this time around. Even Donald Trump himself has admitted in interviews that he simply did not make the wisest picks for his cabinet the first time around. Now he has the chance to make it right.
While a few of the picks have left his voters scratching their heads, like giving the nod to Marco Rubio for the role of Secretary of State, there’s been plenty of other great picks. Initially, the Matt Gaetz pick for Attorney General was intended to be a true curveball. Though, it was maybe too much of a curveball and even Gaetz was suspicious about his ability to get confirmed based on how much nonsensical drama there was over his nomination.
It’s easy (but wrong) to demonize straight white conservative men like Matt Gaetz these days, but it’s not so easy to demonize conservative women because they are a “protected victim class” for the radical Left. Which is what makes Donald Trump’s replacement nomination for AG, Pam Bondi, a pretty smart pick. The Left is going to be forced to play ball with her as they won’t be able to drum up drama about “misconduct allegations.”
Trump supporters and voters might like Pam Bondi in the role as AG over Matt Gaetz anyway based on the reaction from the entire establishment web. They are utterly terrified of her as she is a woman who does not play around. She gets results, something Donald Trump needs for his second administration to truly right the wrongs of the Biden-Harris administration.
Even her Democrat colleagues are admitting she’s a firecracker who has a sincere passion for the rule of law. Recently, a Democrat Florida state attorney, Dave Aronberg, said on MSNBC that he believes America will be very impressed with her in the role as United States Attorney General. He shared a story of how she actually hired him, a Democrat election opponent, to work with him when she won the Florida state AG election.
“Thank you for bringing up the traumatic experience of my statewide election loss in 2010. So I ran for attorney general, lost in the Democratic primary. Pam Bondi was running at the same time on the Republican side. She likes to say that she beat me and then she hired me. That gives me too much credit,” Aronberg said.
“I didn’t even make it to the big game because I lost in the primary. But then, even though I endorsed my Democratic opponent who ran against her in the general election, she still appointed me as drug czar to go after the pill mills, the opioid epidemic. And we shut down all those pill mills that made Florida the drug supplier for the rest of the country,” Mr. Aronberg went on to say on MSNBC.
Aronberg said he has no doubts that Bondi will be great for “refocusing” the Department of Justice towards a real, blind upholding of the rule of law like so many Americans are hoping for out of a second Trump administration. He notes how, much like Donald Trump, she is not afraid to work with those on the other side of the aisle to get work done.
“So she reached across party lines, she got a lot of criticism for it from some of her fellow Republicans. There’s this one story I like to say where there was a party leader in southwest Florida who got in her face and thought he could be so bold to put a finger in her face and say how dare you appoint Democratic Dave Aronberg to this position,” Aronberg went on to share.
MSNBC has already run segments with contributors discussing how terrified they are of Donald Trump’s pick of Pam Bondi because she’s effective and will never back down in a fight. One MSNBC contributor even said that they “fear” her because she’s “competent”.
“Occasionally, attorneys general try to behave like they are not the personal lawyer of the President of the United States. That is completely out the window. Pam Bondi is exactly what I was saying in the last segment that we should all fear, because she’s competent,” College professor Jason Johnson shared on MSNBC about Pam Bondi.
“So if anyone on the Democratic side or anyone who cared about liberty or justice was thinking ‘Well maybe Matt Gaetz will screw this up and that will give us time,’ no. Pam Bondi knows what she is doing,” he added to his comments during the MSNBC interview.
She was fearless in her legal defense of Donald Trump during his impeachment trials and gained national attention for her uncovering of the Biden family’s corrupt connections to Ukraine, which was trying to be covered up by the Washington, D.C. elite during the impeachment trials.
