It’s been a while since Americans could say they trusted the mainstream media. Most of the time people tune into news outlets and take what they say with a grain of salt. That’s how corrupt the media has become with their reporting of the news.

This untrustworthiness was especially heightened when Donald Trump entered the political world in 2015 to launch his campaign. At first Trump was beloved among members of the media, but once he ran on ideas that countered the political establishment class, he was quickly blacklisted and seen as the enemy. That led to news organizations reporting on him in an unfair manner in order to undermine his candidacy.

Of course we all know what happened to Trump – he was able to overcome the deceitful attacks made on him by the media and win the 2016 and 2024 presidential elections.

And while the corruptive nature of mainstream news is rather blatant, there’s still levels of corruption that the American public don’t really know about. But thanks to recent bombshell revelations from this former CBS News reporter, we’re finally seeing just how desperate legacy media is in their efforts to deceive the general public.

CBS News Worked To Hide Disturbing Details Regarding Joe And Hunter Biden

Former CBS News reporter Catherine Herridge has shed light on the stories her former network had regarding Hunter Biden and President Joe Biden prior to the 2022 midterm elections. Herridge claims much of the information she uncovered was either intentionally delayed or shelved altogether by CBS News.

Herridge, who transitioned from Fox News to CBS in 2019 and was let go by CBS in early 2024, conducted extensive investigative reporting on the Bidens. Her work included a deep dive into the now-infamous laptop Hunter Biden left at a Delaware repair shop. Despite her efforts, she now says CBS prevented her from reporting much of what she found.

In a video posted to X on Monday, Herridge emphasized her commitment to journalistic integrity, explaining her approach to the laptop investigation. “I wanted the cleanest copy of the laptop data, the same data that was provided to the FBI,” she stated.

While CBS eventually published a story verifying the authenticity of the laptop and confirming that its data had not been manipulated, Herridge revealed that the network withheld the story until after the 2022 midterms — despite her having it ready well in advance. “When we did the story, we did it after the midterms. I argued against that because it was ready before the midterms,” she said. “My training is that you should always do the story when it’s ready to go, you should not be dictated by the political cycle.”

Herridge also shared examples of leads she believed were newsworthy but were dismissed by CBS. One involved offensive language found in Hunter Biden’s text messages. “For example, in the text messages, there’s unfortunately the use of the ‘N-word,’ the liberal use of the ‘N-word.’ And I thought this was worth another story, but I was told that it’s not something that interested CBS News,” she explained.

Additionally, during a forensic review of the laptop, Herridge uncovered what she described as “half a dozen emails that were likely used by Joe Biden.” While she viewed this discovery as a significant lead, CBS declined to pursue it without the contents of those emails, a process that could have taken years. “There were a lot of reasons I was told not to do it, not to pursue it,” Herridge concluded, reflecting on her time at CBS and the limitations placed on her reporting.

Catherine Herridge likely has more revelations to detail about how CBS News wanted to cover up major news stories in order to protect a political figure or the establishment class as a whole. We’re at the point in American history where the mainstream media needs a total revamp in order to gain the trust of U.S. citizens back. But at this point, that may be too tall of a task.
