Kamala Harris and her Vice President running mate Tim Walz are trying to control the narrative on one of the top issues Americans are concerned about, that issue being abortion. The two have effectively claimed that basically every American in the nation wants abortion to be legal through all nine months of a pregnancy with no restrictions whatsoever.
If that’s the case, why are both of them so afraid of saying this in front of the camera? Neither Kamala Harris or Tim Walz are willing to say to all of America that they want zero restrictions whatsoever on abortion. Instead, they play around in the land of vague semantics games, where they feel more comfortable with euphemisms like “reproductive rights.”
This was blatantly obvious when Kamala Harris refused to answer Donald Trump’s question during the debate if she had any problem with legislation at least restricting late-term abortions, like abortions within the last two months of a pregnancy or so when a baby is viable to live outside of the womb.
Now it’s Tim Walz’s turn to answer the question, but this time it wasn’t friendly debate moderators letting him get by so easily. Fox News’ Shannon Bream held Tim Walz to account on the issue, and tried to force him to answer for the discrepancies in their position on the issue of abortion.
Shannon Bream simply asked Tim Walz if he supported the law in Minnesota, the state where he is the sitting Governor, that says there is literally no time limit restriction on abortion at all. Shannon Bream notes that a website known as “abortion finder” even notes this about the law in Minnesota:
“Abortion is legal throughout pregnancy in Minnesota – there is no ban or limit on abortion in Minnesota based on how far along in pregnancy you are,” the abortion finder website says.
Tim Walz responds with more vague semantics games, saying he just wants to support Roe v. Wade, something that he and Kamala Harris have been saying for weeks now without clarifying their positions at all. Shannon Bream did not let him off easily at this point, though.
“But wait, wait — but let’s agree. What you signed is there’s not a single limit through nine months of pregnancy. Roe had a trimester framework that did have limits through the pregnancy. The Minnesota law does not have that,” Fox News host Shannon Bream then said to push back on Tim Walz who was clearly trying to avoid the question entirely.
Naturally, Tim Walz deflects the question and changes the subject. He claimed that Donald Trump wants to sign a national abortion ban, which is an outright lie as Donald Trump has claimed that is not the case dozens of times now. Shannon Bream even told Tim Walz this.
Bream asked Mr. Walz if he believed Trump was lying when he said that he wouldn’t sign a national abortion ban, and Tim Walz claimed “of course” he is. “Yes, of course, and Senator Vance has in the past said so too. Now look, they may see this as an election issue. We see it as a right of women to make their own bodily decisions, and that’s what the states, like my state, have the ability to put that in.”
Again, he never answered the hard questions Bream was asking, but he did make it abundantly clear what the answer is. Harris and Walz don’t want to say anything about restricting abortion because they know their far-Left radical base will lose its collective mind and figuratively burn them at the stake. That’s why Walz says any discussion around abortion restrictions is “cutting hairs.”
“So let’s be very clear, trying to cut hairs on an issue on this is not where the American public’s at,” Walz also claimed in the Fox News interview. This is just another way of saying “I’m afraid I can’t do that, Dave” when asked a simple question about your official stance on abortion.
Democrat Abortion Extremism Hidden In Plain Sight
The sad reality is that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz view any real concerns over late-term abortion or unethical abortion procedures as election liabilities. So they’ll just stay silent on it entirely. The truth, though, is that a vast majority of Americans don’t want unfettered abortion through all nine months of a pregnancy.
In a 2021 Gallup survey, 65% of Americans indicated that they wanted some degree of restrictions on abortion. In fact, 52% of Americans said that abortion should either be illegal in most situations or illegal in all situations. So this idea that Tim Walz is trying to push that Americans don’t want to “split hairs” on this issue with discussion over restrictions is flat out wrong.
Looking at the politics of abortion, despite constant media narrative promotion, Americans remain quite divided on the issue.
A 52% majority favor an abortion ban or material restrictions — and 45% favor allowing all or most abortions .

Most mainstream media outlets are merely playing along with the Democrat Party’s lies that the American people are incapable of having honest, fair debates over how abortion is legislated in their own state. For now, Kamala Harris and the Democrats are getting away with this, but that may not last forever.
What do you think about Tim Walz’s answers on Fox News? Sound off in the comments below.
This is how Trump felt on hostile, Leftist ABC! If you can’t answer questions, stay in Mama’s basement!
It is crystal clear from the Shannon Bream interview that Walz signed into law in Minnesota the right of a woman to have an abortion throughout all nine months of her pregnancy. Tim Walz just outright lies about it, because hardly anyone thinks it is ok to kill a baby in the womb at 7, 8 or nine months. That is murder. I am not particularly interested in any of the abortion issues, but this is ridiculous.Kamala waffled on the issue and refused to say she opposed abortion at 9 months, and the media moderators let her get away with it.
Walz is only looking for power with Harris. They do not care about the law or the American people!
Sorry comments from a SORRY PERSON! There is absolutely NOTHING GOOD or INTELLIGENT about him, and he is also IN BED with China and has made “dozens of trips there,” according to him. Read about that online if you didn’t know it!
Did Eight Babies die after an abortion attemptduring Birth? It is reported these babies after they were born i Tampon Tim’ State while he was Governor?
They don’t have a clue on how to answer this without fear of losing votes because that’s all they are concerned about is votes so they always come back to a different subject instead of answering the question and unfortunately many people don’t see this.
The fact is that Walz supported and signed a law that does not have any restrictions. Hence, it is clear that he does NOT care about the fact that infanticide is allowed in Minn and he favors seeing the same scenario in the entire US. Shameless!
He and Harris can not speak the truth so they continually lie about everything!
