Groundbreaking Poll Shows That Independent Voters Agree With Trump On Transgender Issues

Gender ideology has been a controversial topic in America for several years now. Democrats have made it one of their top issues during the most recent election cycle. But they’ve found out the hard way that most Americans don’t agree with their stance on this issue.

The Left is of the idea that biological men can become women and vice versa. Not only do they adhere to transgenderism, but they also believe that biological men who are transgendered women should be able to participate in biological women’s sports. This is where a lot of Americans draw the line. They also draw the line when it comes to minors receiving transgender surgery that effectively mutilates their bodies.

Sure, plenty of U.S. citizens are fine with a consenting adult doing whatever they want as long as it doesn’t harm themselves or others, but the latest proposals by the Left and the transgender community do not stick to that principle. And that’s why they’re quickly losing support for their movement. In fact, a new poll shows that President Donald Trump is gaining popularity on the transgender issue.

Since becoming president almost a month ago, Trump has signed several executive orders that have barred men from playing women’s sports and have prohibited health care institutions from providing transgender surgeries to children. Some Democrats of course are not happy with these orders, but they may be shocked to see that plenty of Americans across the political spectrum are in agreement with the president, showcasing a rare moment of unity in the country.

Focus Group Responds Positively to Trump’s Executive Actions on Gender and Sports

A Fox News Digital focus group of Republican and independent voters responded favorably to President Donald Trump’s recent executive actions addressing transgender ideology in sports and other institutions. The group, consisting of 156 voters across the political spectrum, watched a video clip of Trump signing his executive order, “Keeping men out of women’s sports.” Trump stated, “Actions were taken today are the latest in a sweeping effort to reclaim our culture and our laws from the radical left crusade against biological reality.” He continued, “On day one, I made it official, and I’m making it official policy of the United States government that there is, you know, two genders. We have two genders. What might they be? Man and woman, Right? Male and female. Male and female. Can’t think of too many others, but it’s pretty amazing.”

In addition to reaffirming traditional gender definitions, Trump announced a major funding shift: “I rescinded federal funds, too, and this is so important, to any program that promotes transgender ideology using taxpayer dollars. We’re not going to do it. We’re not going to do it. And last week I effectively banned the chemical castration and surgical mutilation of minor children.”

As the president spoke about gender definitions and stripping federal funding for transgender-related medical procedures, approval ratings among Republican and independent voters steadily increased, according to the Fox News Dial. Meanwhile, Democratic voters’ approval remained steady throughout. Lee Carter, president of Maslansky + Partners and the leader of the focus group study for Fox News Digital, noted, “Even Democrats mostly agree!” She addressed potential concerns about the findings, saying, “For anyone who is hysterical and thinks this resonates because people are transphobic — that is not it at all.”

Carter explained that voters generally align on key principles: “1. Children need to be children. 2. If you are too young to have a beer or get a tattoo, you are too young to make this decision. 3. Common sense needs to prevail. 4. Our tax money shouldn’t fund it.” One focus group participant expressed approval, saying, “Finally, something that makes sense. Taking away government money for things we shouldn’t be involved in was one of the best things Trump has ever done.”

The group also reviewed a video of Trump addressing his executive orders targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and gender ideology in American institutions during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 23. Referencing a recent Supreme Court ruling, Trump said, “With the recent yet somewhat unexpected great Supreme Court decision just made, America will once again become a merit-based country. You have to hear that word ‘merit-based country.'”

He continued, “And I’ve made it official, an official policy of the United States that there are only two genders, male and female, and we will have no men participating in women’s sports and transgender operations, which, became the rage will occur very rarely. Finally, as we restore common sense in America, we’re moving quickly to bring back strength and peace and stability abroad.”

The mention of a merit-based system led to a noticeable surge in approval among Republican and independent voters. The trend continued upward when Trump reinforced his stance against male athletes in women’s sports and transgender medical procedures. Democratic voters’ approval remained relatively unchanged, going down slightly during remarks about gender ideology, according to Fox News Dial results.

Carter described the response as “fascinating,” adding, “Look at the strength of reactions to ‘merit-based’ and ‘common sense.’” One focus group participant summed up their reaction by saying, “He may be a rude dude, but I love his thoughts and how much common sense he is making! Love this!” 156 total voters took part in the Fox News Digital focus group, including 75 Democratic voters, 49 Republican voters, and 32 independent voters.

Since taking office, Trump has signed 63 executive orders, a pace that surpasses that of any presidential predecessor in their first weeks in office, according to Fox News. A newly released Marquette Law School Poll national survey found that one of Trump’s most popular executive actions among Americans is his order recognizing only two s*xes — male and female — in federal policy. The survey revealed that 63% of adults supported the decision, with 37% opposed.

Democrats insist that they are the ones who are right when it comes to this issue. They even ran on this issue during the 2024 elections, which in part led to their defeats. But as the above polls show, the majority of Americans simply don’t agree with the Left on transgenderism. And if the Democrat Party continues forward with their current stance on this issue, then they could easily be starring at more election defeats down the road.

What are your thoughts on gender ideology? Do you agree with Trump’s executive orders targeting transgenderism? Let us know down in the comments!

Congress is still not following through with laws that back up Trump’s executive orders. What is Congress’s problem. They know when Trump is out the next democrat president will just reverse Trump’s orders by doing their own executive orders. Congress is the problem in this country. Democrats with weird addictions and gutless Republicans seem to rule Congress and while they are ruling with their sickness, they are also making money so they get to do and live their sick ways. The average citizen doesn’t have the ability to spend hours and days stopping these rotten people with their rotten agendas. That is why average citizens elect people to Congress hoping they don’t get into Congress and suddenly turn out to be sickies. Normal citizens need honest, competent Congress people not what normal citizens have now.

Pro and Con are opposites,
This is plainly seen.
If Progress means move forward,
What does Congress mean?
