ICE arrests hundreds of illegal immigrants in massive raids

Trump’s Border Security Triumph in Florida’s Massive Sweep

In a bold display of law enforcement prowess, Florida’s “Operation Tidal Wave” has delivered a resounding victory for President Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda, rounding up nearly 800 illegal immigrants, including dangerous gang members and fugitives, in just four days.

The unprecedented collaboration between federal and state authorities points to Trump’s commitment to restoring safety and order, earning praise from supporters who see it as a model for tackling illegal immigration nationwide.

The operation, a joint effort between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Florida law enforcement, was hailed as a “first-of-its-kind” crackdown.

“In a first-of-its-kind partnership between state and federal partners, ICE Miami and Florida law enforcement arrested nearly 800 illegal aliens this week during the first four days of #OperationTidalWave — a massive, multi-agency, immigration enforcement crackdown,” ICE announced on X.

The sweep netted high-profile targets, including MS-13 gang members, a Russian fugitive wanted by Interpol, and a suspected terrorist, showcasing the Trump administration’s relentless focus on removing criminal threats.

“We appreciate our [Department of Homeland Security (DHS)] partner’s commitment to public safety,” ICE stated on X, crediting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for providing “extraordinary support.” The operation’s success has energized Trump’s base, who view it as a direct result of his tough-on-crime, America First policies.

Targeting Dangerous Criminals with Precision

Among the apprehended were notorious figures like Jose Sanchez Reyes, a Colombian convicted of homicide, and Rafael Juarex Cabrera, an alleged MS-13 member from Guatemala with multiple illegal entries and a felony reentry conviction. Russian national Savva Klishchevskii, wanted for vehicular manslaughter under an Interpol “Red Notice,” and Aron Isaak Morazan-Izaguirre, a Honduran tied to the 18th Street Gang and suspected of terrorism, were also detained.

These arrests highlight the operation’s focus on dismantling criminal networks, a priority that resonates with Trump supporters demanding stronger border security.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a staunch Trump ally, celebrated the operation’s impact. “Operation Tidal Wave is an example of FL and DHS partnering to deliver big results on immigration enforcement and deportations,” he wrote on X.

“Florida is leading the nation in active cooperation with the Trump administration for immigration enforcement and deportation operations.” His remarks highlight the state’s role as a trailblazer in implementing Trump’s vision for a secure America.

Restoring Trust in Law Enforcement

The sweep comes amid heightened scrutiny of judicial interference, with two judges recently arrested for allegedly shielding illegal immigrants from ICE. Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan faces charges of obstruction and concealing an individual after reportedly protecting a migrant from federal agents.

Similarly, former Doña Ana County Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife, Nancy, were charged with evidence tampering for allegedly harboring a member of Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua gang, Cristhian Ortega-Lopez. These incidents have fueled conservative calls for accountability, aligning with Trump’s push to ensure law enforcement operates without obstruction.

Operation Tidal Wave stands as a testament to the Trump administration’s resolve to prioritize public safety and uphold immigration laws.

As Florida sets the pace for the nation, supporters see this as a pivotal step in fulfilling Trump’s promise to secure the border and protect American communities from the dangers posed by illegal immigration.
