Donald Trump has made many promises to the American people in his bid for a second term in the White House. Now it will be up to him and his team to follow through on those promises and deliver results that the American people are looking to him for. He has to right the ship after the disastrous Joe Biden & Kamala Harris administration that Americans have overwhelmingly rejected.
He’s going to have a giant mess on his hands as soon as he’s officially inaugurated in January next year. Simply out of necessity, he and his team are going to have to prioritize and divide and conquer. Not everything will be able to be done at once, and Donald Trump himself won’t be able to focus on everything at once. Though, we do know what his main priority will be early in his time in office.
According to insiders, Donald Trump is likely to prepare a series of executive orders and actions to address the border crisis on day one in office. His transition team has also noted that the border security is a “top concern” of his and his incoming administration team members.
“He could probably shut down the border, declare that there’s an emergency… stop the entry of people until further notice,” a former U.S. Office of Citizenship chief had to say about the incoming administration’s early executive moves.
“If you identify people who have criminal records, who have committed a crime, you have somehow find a way to expedite their removal,” the former federal official added in his comments. “I would imagine that they have in place an expedited procedure to remove those individuals involved in crime.”

On the campaign trail, Donald Trump said that deportations of illegal immigrants would be a major operation for the second Trump admin, one that they believe is necessary to get the undocumented immigrants crisis under control and fast. The Trump team has noted that violent criminals and drug-affiliated illegal immigrants would be at the top of the list for deportations.
Since the election, Donald Trump and his allies have doubled down on that plan, with his campaign press secretary saying that Trump’s “day one” will include the beginning of the “largest mass deportation operation” of illegal immigrants in American history.
A few other efforts that have been rumored include the resuming of border wall construction, ceasing catch-and-release, reinstating the popular Remain In Mexico policy, and ending parole program loopholes, all on day one of his second term in the White House.

Of course, “day one” can often refer to early efforts of the administration. It usually does not mean that Donald Trump and his allies will be able to accomplish all these goals on the literal first day of his second term. Though, his supporters are most certainly going to be looking for results in the first few months.
These “day one” goals are ruffling feathers of those on the Left and the Washington, D.C. political class. Leftist political commentators are saying that Donald Trump will be causing a labor shortage if he goes through with these plans to deport millions of illegal immigrants during his administration.
Oddly enough, that argument is admitting that illegal immigrants are filling jobs that legal Americans could be filling instead. Not only that but companies paying illegal immigrants allows them to lower the average wages in the United States the more they rely on cheap labor.
Why pay a native-born American a high wage if you can possibly get legal (or even illegal) immigrants to do the job for a fraction of the price? Immigration levels that are too high will inevitably harm the workforce outlook for native-born American citizens.
What do you think about the Trump “day one” plans from Donald Trump’s team to begin securing the border and start the mass deportation process? Is it too much too fast or is it well overdue? Let us know in the comments below.

If you stop the illegal immigrants, deport those that are and have committed crimes here and abroad. That may create a short term labor shortage. Stop the free entitlements, forever, from federal and state programs for ALL peoples. People will be forced to work for whatever jobs there are. Employers will be forced to increase the pay to keep the people that are working reasonably happy.
Most people will not be happy as some will be displaced, while others will be forced back into the work force, paying taxes and will, over time, feel better about themselves.
This has to be done for the good of our country. Too much money is given freely to the immigrants while our citizens get left behind scrounging for crumbs!
The firsr day would be a great move! The sooner the better!
