Jen Psaki broke back onto the scene to rain on Democrats’ parade

The Left is going insane. And some are trying to pump the brakes.

And now Jen Psaki broke back onto the scene to rain on Democrats’ parade.

Democratic Strategist Pushes Back on Extreme Measures

Even prominent voices on the left are urging caution against the latest wave of over-the-top rhetoric targeting President Donald Trump.

On Stephen A. Smith’s Straight Shooter radio show, former Biden White House Press Secretary and current MS NOW host Jen Psaki pushed back hard against repeated talk of invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office.

Psaki Declares Radical Effort “Not Going to Happen”

Psaki made it clear that while some may support the idea in principle, pursuing it is a dead end that wastes valuable time and energy.

She stated: “I have no issue with people saying they’re for invoking the 25th Amendment, but it’s not going to happen. So, it’s like why are we spending so much time, you know?”

Her comments come amid calls from more than 50 Democratic lawmakers and scattered Republican critics who have floated the 25th Amendment — and in some cases impeachment — in response to Trump’s recent statements on Iran and the Strait of Hormuz.

Yet Psaki warned that fixating on such dramatic constitutional maneuvers distracts from smarter political priorities.

Time to Broaden the Tent, Not Narrow It with Outrage

Instead of constant escalation, Psaki emphasized the need for Democrats to focus on winning by being more inclusive:

“What is also true is that in order to win, you have to invite more people to the party. So, if you want to win, you have to accept sometimes that there may be people who are part of your party or you’re going to welcome into the event or the conversation who you don’t agree with on 100% of issues.”

She added a note of realism about the limits of nonstop outrage:

“And part of that goes hand-in-hand with like you have to scream at the top of your lungs about everything that comes out of the Trump administration. And I’m outraged by a lot of it. But I don’t think screaming about every single thing is the most constructive thing.”

In a political climate where some opponents continue floating removal via the 25th Amendment or impeachment, Psaki’s blunt assessment serves as a timely reminder: these high-drama efforts are unlikely to succeed and may do more harm than good to those pushing them.

Focusing on governance and broader appeal, rather than endless constitutional showdowns, appears to be the more pragmatic path forward.
