Massive demographic shift is a scary bellwether for Democrats

The Democrat Party is in a state of complete shock. If you had believed pollsters, this election was going to be a coin flip, and it was likely going to be close.

Instead, Trump trampled over every expectation. Former President Donald Trump made a historic breakthrough with Hispanic and black voters in the 2024 election, significantly reshaping voter demographics in swing states. According to exit polls, Trump surged ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris, especially among Hispanic men, who backed him by a remarkable 10-point margin, based on NBC News data.

Trump secured 54% of the Hispanic male vote, leaving Harris with just 44% support. This was a huge shift from 2020, when Joe Biden claimed Latino males by a hefty 23-point lead (59%-36%). The erosion of Harris’s support extended to Hispanic women, a critical voting bloc where she lost substantial ground.

Joe Scarborough angrily blamed Harris’s loss on what he called “racism” and “misogyny” among black and Hispanic voters.

Meanwhile, Democratic insiders have pointed fingers at Harris’s lackluster candidacy and “arrogant” staff as the real reasons for the campaign’s failure.

The NBC poll highlighted that Harris drew just 62% support from Latinas, a significant drop from Biden’s 69% in 2020. Her 25-point lead over Trump among Hispanic women paled in comparison to Biden’s 39-point edge in the previous cycle. Nationwide, Trump earned 45% of the Hispanic vote, marking a 13-point jump from his 2020 showing, according to Edison Research.

Trump’s appeal didn’t stop with Hispanic voters; he also gained momentum among black voters, with swing states revealing striking shifts. In Wisconsin, Trump more than doubled his support among black voters, securing 20% compared to his 8% in 2020. While Harris maintained a stronghold with 78% of the black vote, Trump’s gains were unmistakable.

In Georgia, a Fox News poll showed Harris’s black support weakening to 83%, a dip from Biden’s 91% in 2020. Black men in the Peach State shifted further, with only 73% backing Harris — a group former President Barack Obama had criticized for supporting Trump — while Trump claimed 25%, up from Biden’s previous 87% support among black males in the state. Even among black women in Georgia, Harris’s 89% support fell short of Biden’s 95% from four years ago.

A similar trend emerged in North Carolina, where Trump earned 20% of the black male vote and 11% of the total black vote, a stark improvement from his mere 6% and 5% in 2020.

In the all-important battleground of Pennsylvania, Trump’s gains were particularly notable. Biden’s 2020 grip on black voters in the Keystone State, with 94% support compared to Trump’s 5%, crumbled. In 2024, Trump’s support among black voters rose to 17% overall, with 23% backing him among black men.

These shifts, if they persist going into the midterms and next presidential election, could be the death knell for the Democrat Party.

What are your thoughts on the outcome of the presidential election? Were you surprised by the support Trump got from minority voters? Let us know in the comments below.

No surprise. It’s about the IDEOLOGY, not the personalities! Americans shun Communism, IF they are able to recognize it. Progressivism has been the perfect cover. They hide their true intent in emotional platitudes.
The Left exposed itself this time. We know who they are! Mask off!
Conservatives won’t get fooled again!

They are destroying their own party! It is no longer the Obama party, try as they might to say he is the party leader. They are finding out that the voters do not like his America last agenda! His popularity is waning, people are seeing him for who he is. He is no longer the “ savior” of the demonrat party! That hyperbole is false. He is a racist, anti American buffoon now. So is moochelle. People no longer care what they have to say because it is the same old anti American rhetoric ad nauseum! They look down their entitled noses at everyone, spew their hateful rhetoric , and people are sick of them.

I believe that what Biden and Harris accomplished was to awaken the sleeping giant, the church. What we don’t know is how many people have been praying. Dwight Haley
