That’s all disturbing enough, but what’s particularly unsettling is the reaction from the media and Leftist talking heads. Just hours after the news of the assassination attempt, the MSNBC machine was gearing up to blame Donald Trump for this attempt on his life. Their reasoning? Well he’s just too divisive, they say. It’s his “mean tone” that’s increasing the political temperature, according to MSNBC.

MSNBC’s host Alex Witt had on the MSNBC political analyst Elise Jordan during her show, and Elise Jordan started out perfectly reasonable with her comments on the news. She pointed out how the data shows how divided Americans are and how concerning that can be for the fabric of our society.

“We have seen, Alex, just the cycle of political extremism at play, unfortunately, over the last, you know, really, decade of American politics. Polling, the Lincoln Democracy Institute did a great poll on political extremism last year and one of the findings was that over 50% of Americans no longer see the political opposition as trustworthy opponents, they see them as untrustworthy enemies,” Elise Jordan shared on MSNBC.

“And so, on the scales of radicalization by what, you know, after 9/11, the scales that were used to gauge radicalism and extremism in the Middle East, by that criteria, almost 13% of Americans are actually political extremists that are radicalized and it’s very scary,” she added to her comments.

Then here’s where they start trying to lay the blame at Donald Trump’s feet, even though he’s the one who has been a victim to two credible threats on his life in the span of just two months.

“Do you expect to hear anything from the Trump campaign about toning down the rhetoric, toning down the violence, or would that be atypical of the former president?” Alex Witt then asked of Elise Jordan. Of course they went this direction asking about what Donald Trump needs to do to prevent this violence, though he’s not the one calling his opponents “H*tler” or a fascist.

“Well, Alex, remember back to the assassination attempt from President Trump’s life how there was talk of a new tone and the Republican convention was, by Trumpian standards, muted and it did seem like he was trying to take it down a few notches, then by the end of his convention speech, we were back to where we started, so I don’t know how long this moment of unity for the country where we come together and we say I don’t want any political opposition to be under threat of violence,” Jordan replied during the MNSBC segment.

Media Machine Only Wants To Blame Donald Trump

You will never find outlets like MSNBC, CNN, or ABC asking Kamala Harris and the Democrats to tone down the political attacks on Donald Trump, calling him an existential threat to democracy, a fascist, an egomaniac, etc. In fact, usually the employees at these outlets encourage these attacks on Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has called Kamala Harris a communist, but he always clarifies he’s talking about her bad economic ideas that are communist. That’s why he calls her that, he believes the shoe fits. There is not a single valid reason to call Donald Trump a literal fascist who wants to commit g*nocide. That’s what they are saying about Donald Trump every week on the airwaves.

Then they want to turn around and tell Donald Trump to turn down the rhetoric? That’s just unbelievable. This is gaslighting, political manipulation, beguiling on the part of the establishment against Donald Trump and his supporters.

If anyone needs to turn down the rhetoric, it’s the establishment. They’ve been waging a war against Donald Trump for eight years, and it’s no surprise that there are now individuals taking matters into their own hands (allegedly, wink wink) to try and take out Trump once and for all. So who’s really to blame? Probably not the guy who has been within inches of losing his life. Twice.
