In the wake of the second attempt on Donald Trump’s life earlier this month, some have been calling for the easing of tensions between the political Left and Right as we head into a critical Presidential election. Americans don’t want to see violence breakout and become uncontrollable. That’s what you’d have if Donald Trump was k*lled or put in critical condition due to an assassin shooting at him.

The establishment media crooks, apparently, don’t agree. They are doubling down on their harsh anti-Trump rhetoric. They’re never going to stop calling him a “threat to democracy” and the reason why is extremely clear if you’re remotely paying attention. Donald Trump is the only anti-establishment candidate in this race right now, and they’re terrified of him being installed in the Oval Office once more.

Recently, a so-called “historian” went on MSNBC on Joe Scarborough’s show to discuss the possibility of a second Donald Trump term in the White House. During the interview, the historian Douglas Brinkley tried to suggest that a second Trump term would be a “doomsday” scenario for America. Why would that be the case? Well his reasoning was sickeningly clear. Donald Trump is anti-government control.

“What would you say to those that say you can’t even suggest that Donald Trump doing all that he did is a threat to democracy or else you’re engaging in political hate speech?” Mr. Scarborough asked of historian Douglas Brinkley on his show.

“Well, it’s nonsense. You know, I’m a — I’m a practicing Catholic. When I see somebody like Donald Trump, it’s shot in the ear or what almost happened in Mar-a-Lago, you know, your prayers go off for him because you honor all humans. But if you’re talking about the danger, the inherent danger of Donald Trump, he’s radioactive,” Brinkley responded. “He wants to come in and gut government because it’s rhetoric that sounds good. And you start trying to get rid of civil service, collapse the federal government, you are going to find a country in disarray.”

Brinkley went on to suggest that Donald Trump would be horrible for America because Trump wants to get rid of certain government agencies that have been facing criticism for failures and mismanagement in recent years, particularly the Department of Education and the Environmental Protection Agency.

“It’s a larger problem that the federal government hasn’t educated the public enough to know all the incredible things somebody works for the Environmental Protection Agency does for clean water, what we do for clean air. We don’t talk enough about, you know, flight safety,” Brinkley went on to say. “But when you start just willy-nilly saying you’re going to wipe out a Department of Education, nobody even knows what that means, to try it and get successful, particularly with the Supreme Court, with these, this, which Trump sees as a rubber stamp, and with the new prerogative the courts gave them of knowing, you know, presidents are above the law.”

Then this “historian” said the quiet part out loud. He believes a second Trump term is in no uncertain terms the “doomsday” scenario for our nation. “We’re walking into a doomsday scenario if Trump gets in. People better wake up, take the smelling salt and, you know, and pay attention right now,” Brinkley said.

Establishment Pearl-Clutching On Display

There’s one crack in the argument of this historian. He should probably brush up on the history of the Department of Education, because it’s not a particularly long one. The Department of Education was established in 1979. So it’s not even fifty years old yet. Meaning, for the vast majority of America’s history, there was no Department of Education. It’s almost as if it’s not a needed agency if it spends about $100 billion a year while America lags in education standards for first world nations.

Mr. Brinkley should be ashamed of himself for calling himself a “history expert” when he’s clearly just a pony for the media establishment. They paraded him out here for an MSNBC segment in which they could continue to declare Donald Trump the worst thing since the German Mustache Man of the 1930s and 1940s himself.

All for what? What’s the objective? Clutching those pearls. They’re utterly terrified of a second Donald Trump term. They know it and their behavior shows that they know it. They want to clutch on to their pearls of power given to them by big government and government collusion with private institutions. That’s what the Department of Education, the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), etc., represent.

They don’t even want Americans to think about a future in which the Department of Education is abolished from the U.S. Federal Government even though it wasn’t in existence for the first two hundred years of America’s history! How foolish this so-called “historian” is and how disgraceful MSNBC is for this blatant display of establishment hysteria and hand-wringing.

The candidate that MSNBC is so obviously trying to push over the finish line, Kamala Harris, is maybe the most corrupt establishment politician to run in the general election for President in American history. She’s been parading around the endorsements she’s received from former Vice President Cheney, Goldman Sachs, and even the IRS agents union. She’s the establishment darling and they are all propping her up.

Democrats are running on a platform of producing and sending more weapons to keep a horrific war fueled forever, claiming it's to "fight for freedom": pure neocon rhetoric.

Yet, ladies and gentlemen, their ivory tower is cracked. They’re simply trying to fill in the cracks as quickly as possible. They’re praying that they can stop the bleeding before Americans truly get fed up with the establishment constantly getting its way and suppressing the masses.

As Kamala Harris likes to say, we’re not going back. Except we don’t mean it in the way she does. She may win this November. Donald Trump may or may not get that second term in office. But regardless of whatever happens, the genie won’t be put back in the bottle. We’re not going back to Clinton, Bush, and Obama-era corruption for decades longer. The establishment will just have to deal with the American people taking an axe to their ivory tower until it all comes crumbling down, because we won’t stop.
