Radical leftist turns on senate candidate from her own party

Democrats are unleashing a civil war on themselves. They may never recover.

And a radical leftist turned on a senate candidate from her own party.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas is once again putting party fractures on full display. The leftist Democrat from Dallas has made it plain that enthusiasm for the party’s U.S. Senate hopeful James Talarico is running cold in key voting blocs.

Crockett offered a blunt assessment of how Talarico is landing with black voters in the state. She said the black community is not showing much interest in the candidate.

“I personally don’t feel like the excitement necessarily exists within the black community right now,” Crockett stated during an interview.

She did not stop there. Crockett continued, “I don’t feel like they’re excited, right? But I do have some amazing black candidates that are running for office in some of the largest counties. So if I can introduce black folk to them that may excite them and get them to the polls.”

These remarks arrive at a sensitive moment for Texas Democrats.

Talarico has positioned himself as a progressive standard-bearer, yet even a fellow Democrat is admitting the energy is missing where it counts.

Crockett’s willingness to air this publicly exposes the limits of the party’s usual playbook.

Identity-focused messaging has long been the default tool for mobilizing certain demographics, but here a black Democratic congresswoman is acknowledging that the pitch is falling flat for her own Senate candidate.

Instead of rallying behind Talarico, Crockett is pointing voters toward other black candidates in big counties.

The strategy is clear: shift attention away from the Senate race and toward local races where she believes she can still generate turnout.

For right-leaning observers, the episode confirms what many have long argued.

Democratic dependence on racial grievance and identity sorting is starting to fray even among its intended audience.

I thought Crocett lost her run for reelection so why is she still in Congress doing nothing. November can’t come fast enough. With this country’s luck a worst one than her will win.
