In the swirling chaos of left-wing media, Democratic strategist James Carville popped up on MS NOW’s The Beat earlier this week, launching into a tirade against President Donald Trump over the Iran situation.
It’s the kind of rant that exposes how out of touch these Beltway insiders really are with everyday Americans who just want strong leadership.
Host Ari Melber kicked things off by asking for Carville’s take on Trump’s press conference and his comments about oil prices. Instead of sticking to facts, Carville dove headfirst into conspiracy territory, claiming the president had essentially given up on dealing with Iran.
Carville stated, “First of all, we know, we know we took out an 86 year-old leader who was a hardliner and was replaced by his son, who is 56 year-old and a harder liner. So that didn’t work. We know that Putin talked on the phone for one hour today. We know that after the conversation Trump threw in the white flag.”
“We know these things actually happen. Now to fact checkers are going to have to dig through to see if it’s 55 or 58 different lies that he said. I stopped counting and I’m not even a fact checker. They were cascading they were going so fast.”
This is classic Carville—spinning wild tales to paint Trump as weak, all while ignoring the real wins the president scored in keeping America safe and energy independent. But let’s face it, folks: the left can’t stand when a leader like Trump stands up to tyrants without dragging us into endless wars.
Melber pressed him further, asking if Carville saw this as the administration hunting for an exit strategy on Iran. Carville doubled down, acting like he had insider knowledge on every move.
He continued, “Their like could we just get out? We know what happened. We know he talked to Putin for an hour on the phone, and we know he said this thing is wrapping up, that it’s the end. And we know we replaced a bad guy with a badder guy.”
For a guy who’s been in politics forever, Carville sure loves twisting the narrative to fit his anti-Trump agenda.
The real story here isn’t Trump’s supposed “white flag”—it’s how the liberal elite keeps pushing fearmongering to distract from their own failures. Trump took out Soleimani, a terrorist mastermind, and now Iran is reeling, but Carville wants you to believe it backfired.
Americans aren’t buying this nonsense. We’ve seen Trump broker deals that put America first, from trade wins to peace talks, while Democrats like Carville sit in their echo chambers complaining about “lies” without proof.
That press conference Carville trashed? It was Trump laying out how his policies are driving down oil prices, benefiting working families at the pump. But no, the left would rather obsess over a chat with Putin than celebrate lower costs for truckers and farmers.
Carville’s claim of “cascading” lies is just more hot air from a partisan hack.
Fact-checkers might nitpick, but everyday folks know Trump’s straight talk cuts through the Washington swamp.
At the end of the day, populists like us see through the spin. Trump’s handling of Iran shows strength, not surrender, and no amount of Carville’s bluster changes that.
