In a rare moment of candor on MS NOW this Tuesday, Senator Mark Warner of Virginia dropped a truth bomb that should leave every American with their jaw dropped.
The Democrat from Virginia didn’t mince words when discussing the current mess in the Middle East and what it means for our nation’s future.
Warner described his recent trips around his state, where he asked regular folks a question about the Iran war.
“I’ve been across Virginia countless times in the last few days. I’ve said, how many of you are willing to put your sons or daughters or grandchildren on the ground in Iran to fight this war? And all of this was knowable. It’s not just — this is not just political. This is like who we are as a nation, who we are as a world leader, and how we have actually made America and our allies weaker in that region, 47 days in, and there is no easy exit for anyone,” Warner said.
“Even if he declares victory tomorrow, the energy crisis — do not take my word, look at anybody, gas, natural gas, jet fuel, fertilizer, aluminum.”
“This will be with us for, not weeks, but months and potentially years. And a president that promised no foreign wars and less prices, it’s why the rest of the country is turning against us.”
Warner didn’t stop there, expressing deep personal dismay at America’s diminished status in his eyes.
“And what you did so brilliantly, and it makes me — just my heart sick, is looking at how we are viewed around the world,” he added.
“We have spent 75 years trying to say, with all our flaws, and God knows we’ve got a lot of flaws, we were the good guys. We don’t have that claim anymore.
While Warner raises real issues about the war in Iran, he conveniently forgets just how evil the Iranian regime is.
For decades, Iran has called for the death of America and its allies.
The United States can’t afford to be involved in an endless entanglement.
But lets not act like Iran is a saint in all of this.

Man, if this guy is a democrat, the democrats are below ground now. Where is this communist talk coming from, it doesn’t seem it’s coming from millions of people who have lived and died under communism, Russian commies even killed unborn babes in the millions by telling women they will have a better life without babies while the truth was they invented legal and “necessary” abortion to control their population at the numbers they could feed them. Remember the winter Russia had to buy wheat and other food items from the U.S. and due to capitalism, the U.S. fed Russia and the U.S. that winter and summer. Right after that winter the farmers in Russia were told they could raise food for themselves in their gardens but the farmers with their gardens outgrew the communes and the farmers sold their surplus. Suddenly the communist govt started returning land to the farmers. You can always tell these commie lovers, they have never worked or had to live a life with decision making. Communism decides what job you have not what your dream is. The food in regular markets is not the higher quality and quantity as in the stores for approved communist party members only. When you want to replace a light bulb, you are told by the communist neighborhood “leader” “We gave you free health care as promised, not replacement light bulbs. And you just got married; you go on the list for an apartment complex with tall buildings with long wings and one bathroom for the whole wing. This character has never gone hungry or waited anywhere in this country for a bathroom.
I want the hydrogen bomb put on iran if they. Don’t agree to no nukes. It doesn’t have to be a full size bomb like what was dropped on Japan. But it needs to happen. Nail them and be done with them.
