Trump set to slash regulations for all Americans

Donald Trump’s forthcoming Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and the supportive caucuses in Congress are poised to combat Washington’s expansion.

Recently, entrepreneurs Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, Trump’s picks for government efficiency, engaged with House Republicans to brainstorm and critique strategies. Their initiatives contrast sharply with the current administration’s expansion of government, which has increased tax burdens and regulatory pressures on American workers.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights envisioned a government with limited powers, but over the last century, this scope has significantly expanded, burdening citizens.

Despite Republican efforts over the last four years, the vast executive bureaucracy, employing nearly 3 million (excluding military personnel), with only about 6% working full-time in-office according to recent reports, has consistently resisted our initiatives. In contrast, the legislative branch, with its 535 voting members, employs a tiny fraction of this workforce to serve the public.

With Trump’s return to office on Jan. 20 and Musk and Ramaswamy at the helm of DOGE, there’s optimism that Congress will find stronger allies in reshaping government to be more efficient and focused on serving constituents.

History gives us a glimpse of what’s possible. Trump’s first term saw him exceed his promise of cutting two regulations for every new one, actually eliminating eight for each new regulation.

This was a monumental achievement for small businesses, families, and local governments, easing the regulatory load. Under President Joe Biden, however, regulatory costs have soared to $1.37 trillion, dwarfing the regulatory expenses during Trump’s and Obama’s administrations.

The Supreme Court’s recent decision in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, overturning the Chevron deference, should further curb overzealous rule-making by ensuring agencies’ interpretations are aligned with Congressional intent.

For too long, bureaucrats in D.C. have wielded excessive power, and Congress has relinquished too much control to these unelected officials who overlook the burdens on ordinary Americans.

And it’s a big reason why most Americans believe the economy is in shambles, despite protests from the media elite.

It’s why 74% of Americans said they were very concerned about the price of food and consumer goods right before the election.

And another 69% said they were very concerned about housing.

Maybe it’s all of the hoops you have to jump through to own a farm, operate trucks for shipping, and ecological surveys before building a house.

Maybe less really is more.

Are government regulations out of hand in America? Are you confident Trump’s administration will properly slash a good amount of unnecessary regulations? Let us know in the comment section below!

Regulations are out of hand and the entire government work force should return to the office or be terminated!

It’s infuriating how out of control regulations have become in America, alongside the powerful grip of the IMF, the corrupt so called central banking Federal Reserve system, and the oppressive IRS under the Biden/Harris misadministration. These entities are draining the life out of hard-working Americans, manipulating the economy, and infringing on our freedoms. It’s time to abolish them all and reclaim control of our country, our economy, and our future from these overreaching bureaucracies.

The ultra successful businessman Trump has been for decades PROVES he knows how to get things done EFFICIENTLY and on a timely basis. THIS is the kind of thought & processes we need to again efficiently run our BIGGEST business – the Federal Government. I hope Trump is given the ability and help he needs from Congress & the people to get this correction made!!!
