Trump Delivers Historic Peace Deal in Gaza

President Donald Trump has delivered a seismic victory for peace in the Middle East. On Wednesday, he announced the “first phase” of a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, a move to halt the bloodshed in Gaza and secure the release of hostages held by the terror group. This isn’t just diplomacy—it’s a win for the people, from Israelis and Palestinians to Americans, who crave stability and a future free from endless war.

“This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace,” Trump declared on Truth Social.

Trump’s announcement electrified a region weary of conflict. “All Parties will be treated fairly!” he emphasized, doubling down on his commitment to justice over favoritism. “A GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a rock-solid ally, hailed the breakthrough. “This is a diplomatic success and a national and moral victory for the State of Israel,” he stated on X.

Netanyahu was clear about the stakes. “From the beginning, I made it clear: we will not rest until all our hostages return and all our goals are achieved,” he said. “Through steadfast resolve, powerful military action, and the great efforts of our great friend and ally President Trump, we have reached this critical turning point.”

The deal’s momentum is unstoppable. Sources in Egypt told The Times of Israel that mediators are preparing for a formal signing on Thursday. Trump, never one to sit idle, confirmed to Fox News’ Sean Hannity that he spoke with Netanyahu post-announcement, predicting hostage releases could begin by Monday.

A senior White House official outlined the next steps: “The deal goes to the Israeli cabinet tomorrow. Once they vote yes, Israel has to withdraw to the line which should take under 24 hours,” the official stated. “Then the 72 hour clock begins, and Hamas will try to go earlier if possible. Our assessment is that hostages will begin getting released on Monday.”

The breakthrough stems from Trump’s hands-on approach. During a White House event, he teased the deal’s imminence after Secretary of State Marco Rubio handed him a note stating it was “[v]ery close. We need you to approve a Truth Social post soon so you can announce deal first.”

Trump expressed gratitude to mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, who “worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen.” He closed with a rallying cry: “BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!”

The deal’s impact is immediate. Sources explained to the New York Post that about 20 living Israeli hostages will be freed this weekend, with the remains of at least 28 others, who tragically died in captivity, to follow. Israel will release a significant number of Palestinian inmates, including 250 with life sentences and 1,700 detained since October 7, 2023, as part of Trump’s 20-point peace plan. For each deceased hostage, Israel will deliver the remains of 15 Gazans.

Trump’s vision goes beyond short-term fixes. “Once all hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty,” his plan states. Those who choose to leave Gaza will get safe passage.

The plan includes three phases of Israeli troop pullbacks from Gaza’s coastal areas, starting with the hostage release. While some details—like international peacekeeping forces or the makeup of a “technocratic, apolitical Palestinian” interim government—are still in the works, Trump’s roadmap is clear: a Board of Peace, chaired by him and including figures like former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, will guide the transition.

Trump’s commitment is unmatched. He’s considering traveling to Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, to oversee final talks. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt noted that Trump’s annual physical is set for Friday, and he’s “considering going to the Middle East shortly thereafter.”

President Trump’s focus on fairness, security, and results has brought hope to a region desperate for change.

There will not be everlasting peace until Jesus return! There has to be peace in the West Bank too but there is a war coming that will emanated for the Euphrates River area that will be directed at Israel and 1/3 of the worlds population will die in this war. True peace will be delivered by the Lord Jesus Christ upon his return when all evil will be wiped out and those truly saved will spend eternity with Him.
